Pool Maintenance Service for the Greater Phoenix Area

Every visit done right. Every single time.

Weekly pool maintenance at AZ Veteran Pools is not a quick stop and a wave. Every visit follows the same thorough process: baskets emptied, pool netted, walls and tile brushed, chemicals tested and treated, and a full photo report sent before the tech ever leaves your property. Thomas Blankenship built this company on the idea that every customer deserves to actually see what was done to their pool each week. That standard does not change based on the day or who is on the route.

What a Weekly Visit Include

  • Arrival and Check In

When the tech arrives, they check into the job on the app. Every visit is logged and timestamped. There is no guessing whether someone showed up or how long they were there.

  • Emptying the Baskets

The skimmer basket gets emptied and the pump basket gets emptied. Both get photographed before the tech leaves so you can see the condition of your equipment every single week.

  • Netting the Pool

The system gets turned on and the entire pool is netted top and bottom. Every leaf, bug, and piece of debris gets pulled out before anyone touches a brush.

  • Brushing the Walls and Tile

Then the real work starts. The walls are brushed. The steps are brushed. The shelves are brushed. The tile line is brushed. All of it, every visit, every time. This is not something that gets skipped on a busy day.

Heidi J., a customer who had tried multiple pool companies before switching, put it simply: "The cleaner is amazing — actually scrubs my walls and tile line." That is not a bonus at AZ Veteran Pools. That is the job.

  • Chemical Testing and Treatment

Chemicals are tested next. Whatever the water needs gets added right then and there. The readings and chemical inputs are logged in the report.

  • Photo Report and Documentation

Photos of the pool and both baskets are taken and the full report is sent to you immediately on the spot before the tech leaves your property. The gate gets closed on the way out. Every single time.

Jim T., a current weekly service customer, described it this way: "Cody comes by every week and does an outstanding job. He thoroughly cleans the pool, makes sure the chemical levels are balanced, and even takes photos of the skimmer basket and pool to share with me so I know everything's been taken care of."

That is exactly how every visit is supposed to work. You should never have to wonder if your pool was serviced or what condition it is in. The report takes that question off the table completely.

How Chemical Billing Works

Chemicals are not included in the base service rate. AZ Veteran Pools provides all chemicals and bills them separately based on exactly what your pool needed that specific week. If your water only needed a small adjustment, that is all you pay for. If it needed more, you will see exactly what was used and why.

There are no flat chemical fees here. You are not paying a set amount every month regardless of what your pool actually used. That approach is common in this industry and it is not fair to the customer. At AZ Veteran Pools, what you pay for chemicals reflects what your pool actually consumed that visit. Nothing more.

Why Consistent Service Matters in Arizona

Phoenix area summers are not forgiving. The heat accelerates chemical breakdown faster than most pool owners realize. Miss one week of proper treatment and your water can turn green within days. Sometimes faster depending on how hot it has been and how much sun the pool gets.

Consistent weekly service is the single best thing you can do for your water quality and your equipment. It keeps chemistry balanced, catches problems early, and protects your pump, filter, and other components from working harder than they need to. If you ever notice equipment issues between visits, our pool repair service covers everything from leaking o-rings to full pump replacements.

Beyond weekly service, pools in the Valley should be drained and refilled every 2 to 3 years as dissolved minerals build up over time. AZ Veteran Pools also recommends pool filter cleaning every 4 to 6 months to keep the system running efficiently. O-rings on pumps and equipment should be replaced once a year before the summer heat sets in. The expansion and contraction between seasons is the number one cause of equipment leaks in Arizona pools.

Why AZ Veteran Pools

Full visit every time. Walls, steps, shelves, and the tile line are brushed on every single visit. This is the standard, not the exception.

Every visit is logged and documented. The tech checks in on the app when they arrive. You get a photo report and chemical readings sent immediately before they leave.

You only pay for the chemicals your pool actually used. No flat fees, no overpaying for product your water did not need that week.

Thomas is personally involved with every customer. He answers questions, explains what is going on with your equipment, and makes sure nothing gets ignored.

Green pools get handled fast. When a pool turns, AZ Veteran Pools moves quickly. Often same day or next day. Because waiting in Arizona heat only makes it worse.
